Former Navy Electronics Technician with over 10 years of computer network experience. Currently, a contractor with Judge Group working as a Computer Infrastructure Engineer at Lockheed Martin who supports the U.S. Navy in testing, developing, and installing its Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense baseline 5.4.1 computer systems. Key skills:

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER – JUDGE GROUP (2021-PRESENT)

  • Contracting for Lockheed Martin Moorestown on Aegis BMD Baseline 5.4.1

  • Configures and provides support for  Cisco and IBM switches in Lockheed Martin Labs and on U.S. Navy Aegis BMD Destroyer Ships.

  • Develops, troubleshoots, administers, and implements Linux High Availability Clustering on Linux servers.

  • Conducts testing for new implementations of protocols, configurations, and system updates.

  • Conducts environmental and shock and vibrational testing on new hardware.

  • Participates in Engineering Review Boards, Configuration Meetings, and Software Engineering meetings.

NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR/ENGINEER - EGLOBALTECH (2018-2021)

  • Responsible for installing router, switch, firewall, and IDPS software updates and configuration changes in CGSAIL and on Coast Guard ships.

  • Has supported CGSAIL through two software builds and four software patches, and One Coast Guard ship with two software patches.

  • Participates in Engineering Review Boards, Configuration Meetings, and Software Engineering meetings.

TIER 2 NETWORK TECHNICIAN - NAVY (2016-2018)

  • Resolved 200+ trouble tickets in support of US Navy enterprise network customers at Naval Support Activity(NSA) Bahrain and outlying sites.

  • Assisted in re-imaging 10 workstations during a catastrophic failure affecting the NSA headquarter building. Resulting in minimal service disruption for key leaders and the base commander's mission.

  • Set up 127 computer workstations in support of a PC refresh project to provide new workstations throughout the command's building.

SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS TECHNICIAN - NAVY (2010-2016)

  • Trained 2 junior technicians and 5 operators on detailed shore based SATCOM operations architecture, reducing troubleshooting man-hours on 2 critical system faults and 30+ satellite acquisitions.

  • Executed 340+ hours of corrective and preventative maintenance.

  • In support of critical maintenance for one of NCTS Bahrain’s SHF Earth Terminals, I assisted in the transfer of 18 different ship and ground mobile force data strings resulting in reduced down time for the ships and mobile forces in our area of responsibility.
